How Do You Define Success?

How do you fine Success? The American Heritage Dictionary defines Success as "the achievement of something desired or attempted; the gaining of fame or prosperity; one that succeeds. The Latin root carries the meaning "to go after."

The world teaches us to go after all the gusto we can, to win, to succeed, and to crush if necessary. We worship success in terms of fame, power, riches, and status, especially where we work. For most of us success means getting our own way, right or wrong.

We all want to amount to something; our culture demands it. All you have to do is turn on the tv to see how we view success. But, success is more more than money, fame, power, etc. During this season of Lent and self searching we need to become empty in order to become full.
